Good service and clean cars given at the point of collection. The only downside to this company is the ridiculously high 3rd party excess insurance which is at $15,000 for new Drivers and $10,000 for experienced drivers. Most rental company's have an excess of $5-6k for new Drivers and $3-2k for experience drivers.. if u want to rent from here, make sure u drive Super carefully and if possible get an in car camera to record any accidents.. if u caused the accident, get ready to fork out $15k.. - Evan Walker

i made the right choice renting from AKA Car Rental. 1st, Very easy to located the shop . 2nd, the staff was very friendly and prompt, booking was fuss free. 3rd, the staff was cleaning all the cars when we were there and they will point out if theres any damages on the car. Car rental is always only good if nothing bad happens, please please please read the excess before agreeing to rent (crazy 10k of excess even if the accident is a small one and if third party doesn't want a private settlement). Friendly staff at Akacarrental, but do not recommend due to the high excess and also high repair fees if anything happen. Though they always say they will not overcharge, but you really won't know. I am sure that if you bring the car to a workshop on your own, the costs will be lower. Yup, think thrice before you decide to rent. The excess amount paid can probably get you a second hand car with a few months life span. - C Zee

We rented a Mazda 3 from aka car rental last month while waiting to collect my own vehicle. Customer Service is good and prompt in responding to my query. We could see the staff were very busy upon collecting of car but nevertheless they guided us well and explaining to us the terms and condition. It was an amazing experience as a first timer for renting car! I will definitely recommended aka car rental!

Just passed my license and my friend recommended me aka car rental. Collection of car was very convenient at commonwealth which is around 3mins walk away from mrt control station. The staff knew that i just passed my license and offer to lend me a p-plate. Very friendly and honest staff that guide me with my car and point out afew scratches. Hassle free for returning. My family and i enjoyed the car over the weekend.

Rented a ford focus from aka. Aka staffs are very nice and friendly. I like that they are very honest when it comes to car scratches and dented parts. The guys will go through the car and write on the contract for damages, i missed out afew scratches because it was very mild but they didn't give it a miss and told me about that. I have ever encounter other rental companies that didn't go through the car and i was being charged a bomb. I will be returning to aka car rental when i need a car! Overall good experience and clean car.

Kudos to the team at Aka car rental. Good service and hassle free. Reached aka office and and they verbally go through the contract and t&C after which they will bring me to my rental vehicle and go through the car with me. I scratched the car when parking but the damaged charges was very transparent and reasonable. Very honest and friendly staff there. My 3rd time renting from aka and definitely going back!

Extremely efficient collection and return process. Cars are kept clean and maintained in very good condition. Staffs are always friendly and very honest, totally eased my fear in renting as I've heard so many horror stories. Definitely recommend AKA rental to everyone looking to rent a car!

Aka car rental has the best service. The staff there are the best among other car rental companies i've ever rented from. They are very honest and sincere when helping their customers. They will try their best to adapt to whatever my needs are. The cars they provide are kept clean and it is also maintained. When i rented from them, be it a short or long period, their cars have never given me any problem. I would recommend anyone that wants to rent a car, be it pplate drivers or experienced driver to rent from them.
